Succeeding at a task can seem quite daunting especially if it is something as big as weight loss. We were trapped in repetitive patterns for many years, if not a life and conduct and Weight loss can be almost impossible.

We feel totally powerless.

The key to weight loss is to release these feelings of powerlessness and creating a plan of action that lead us to lose weight and gain a goodFIG.

The first step to do this is to get to know you. Currently, you may know that some typical things you eat and drink throughout the day, but some points in your day, your hunger may have been triggered by an emotion or you may be recklessly snacks if you're not aware of eating. You have to overcome this by spending some good time watching you.

Get a diary for 2-3 days and write down everything you eat and drink. Write what you feel before, during and after. Writethat triggers you to eat if anything. Are you really hungry or do you eat just because something you stressed at work or your children have ever cranky made you eat chocolate cake or dip into some chips?

Once you've done this, you will have a clear indication of your diet and lifestyle. Some things may even shock you because you were not fully aware that you did. You should also see if you use food to cope with emotions too. This may be something youalready aware of but had not realized how you were comforting yourself with food so far. This is the great advantage of this exercise. Your consciousness of you comes alive.

Once done, you should be able to see a number of things you can change immediately. For example, you may drink lots of juice or soda. Cut these out! Store bought juices and soft drinks are empty calories and do not accumulate. The juice that you want to be drinking homemade. The store boughtstuff is not good for you and even freshly squeezed is not something really true about the freshly squeezed juice. Try drinking water and herbal teas only.

Change what you snack on also helps. Instead of candy, chocolate or nuts Cut out snacking entirely. If you find it too hard, you may be eating for emotional reasons-boredom to say instead of being really hungry. If you feel really hungry grab fruit. Eat 4-5 pieces. If you do not want to eat fruit when it is safeBet Your eating is emotional.

For some people, emotional eating may be more deeply rooted and that you may need to work on your emotional eating much more than simply cut the boredom. There are many excellent online resources to help them.

Once you've made small changes to move to refine your plan further. Go at a comfortable pace and do not rush to the finish line, you send in the May panic, you feel like you are deprived and binge eating occurs.
