Hey guys. Well I am a little pudgy. Not necessarily overweight. I was planning on switching to a vegan diet since i used to eat pasta and meat, which well didn’t help the situation. Also been cutting down on what i eat to either 1 or 2 meals a day. I was wondering would the vegan diet also help me lose some of the extra pounds as well?

A vegan diet is very healthy if you do it right and you will also lose weight.
Pasta without meat is OK as pasta plus meat is a fattening combination.

A vegan diet will help you lose weight as well as improve your life by adding more vitamins. Though you have to be careful to eat a lot of green veggies and mushroom to get the folate and iron you require. It would be also advisable to talk to a dietitian or your doctor about this.
