Does Lamictal Cause Extreme Weight Loss Or Memory Loss Over The Years?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

I’ve been taking it for two years and lost 30 pounds over those years. I can’t gain weight. And my memory is pretty terrible (haha- but I don’t know how long it’s been that way because I can’t remember!)
So has anyone taken Lamictal for several years and noticed any of these symptoms (weight loss or memory loss or inability to concentrate)? I am 22 years old 5’2 weighed 130 and now weigh 100.

My husband has taken Lamictal for about four years without any weight or memory loss. I suggest that you speak with your psychiatrist about what’s going on. Perhaps there’s something else causing your problem; if not, the doctor should evaluate whether Lamictal is the best medication for you. Take care of yourself!
