Has Anyone Experienced Weight Loss With Evening Primrose Oil?
![]() |
I’ve been taking EPO for at least six months. I’ve lost approximately eighteen pounds without trying. I did not start taking EPO for weight loss, though. I’m taking it for PMS. But yet I’m losing weight. Nothing else has changed. I walk most days as I always have and eat the same as usual. I’m not complaining. I really like having my clothes fit looser. Has anyone had the same results? And if so, how many mg are you taking per day?

Well, EPO does help to maintain a healthy balance of hormones, so it’s very possible that your “healthy balance” was such where you were able to lose weight more efficiently because of your intake and exercising. Congratulations!
I can definitely say from personal research and discussions with many people on this product and similar ones that it is not a common response, so you are definitely lucky and apparently in good enough shape that you were able to lose that. Good job!
That’s very interesting. I used to take EPO regularly but I didn’t lose weight on it. Mind you, I didn’t really have any to lose. There is no evidence that EPO is effective for anything actually.
