How Do I Get My Exercise Jump Rope To The Right Length?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

I just bought a new 10′ adjustable exercise jump rope, but 10′ is too long. The handle caps come off to adjust the rope. How do I adjust the jump rope to be the right length for a good cardio work out? I guess like the length of the ones boxers use.

Stand on the middle of the rope. Place the handle points on your hips so that the where the rope attaches is pointing horizontally away from your body. The rope should be tight in this position.
