i just bought myself a wii fit and i have just started to use it and it tells you a estimate of how many calories you have lost. so how much calories should you burn a day to lose weight?
and don’t try to suggest pills or whatever is out there, i want fat loss without pills.

    there is no set number of calories to lose. the key is that you have to burn more calories than you take in. keep in mind that there are roughly 3500 calories in a pound. so burning or consuming 500 less calories in a week should theoretically cause you to lose 1 pound a week. good luck to you!

    Start with your doctor’s advice. It depends on how many and how fast you need to lose fat. Decide yourself how many. A pound is 3500 calories. It appears to me that you must spend more calories than than you consume. Aerobics(running, jogging,walking) are one sure way of burning more fat than weight lifting. Unless this is combined with healthy balanced diet, it is counterproductive.Set small goals to lose weight and keep it off than fast ways to lose it for you will regain it again. Bottom line, choose a healthy life style.

  • Well 1 lb of fat = 3,500 Calories. Your body burns calories 24/7, sleeping, eating, showering, and your activities. The wii fit does work :) I loved it. It is actually part of my exercise routine on a daily basis and is great for entertaining my friends and family. Hope I helped :)
