Cut down on you carbs. Don’t abandon carbs but like have one portion of carbs with one meal a day and for example only three times a week. Lose the chips eat more baked snacks but don’t overdo it.
Eat more Veggies, cut down on sweets (drinks, icecream, etc.) drink more water, carry water with you all the time.
You’d be amazed at how much carbs and sweets bloat us up in our belly.
Move around more – use the stairs (taking it slow at first), walk to places that are nearby -walking briskly – a notch above what you’d normally do increasing as you feel more comfortable.
Eat oatmeal for breakfast (half a cup of oatmeal, a cup of milk, maybe some dired cranberries for taste (which is actually good once you get used to the appearance) into the microwave for a minute and a half ish). Eat bagels with light philadelphia cheese for lunch and I’d recommend rice with fish or some sort of not too fatty meat for dinner because you want to lost a belly but you don’t want to kill your health. I don’t count carbs, I think the notion in itself is ridiculous (I’m a bio/chem geek ^^). You need healthy food, in smaller amounts, and excercise!!!! Half an hour a day of attempting pushups and things like that that all us nerd avoided at all cost in high school. Be moderate. Don’t starve yourself and don’t overwork yourself. When you’re excercising, excercise until youre tired and feel you shouldnt do anymore pushups or whatever. Then do five more.
jogging or fast walking. Stay away from the stationary bike. I take it your job is a sit down kind of place right? That is working against you. Whether you want to believe it or not your posture could be causing your pooch to be a little more noticeable. This is why sitting on the bike isnt going to help. Stretch out while you exercise, drink lots of water and lower your sodium intake. All together this should help you. Good luck
