What Are Good Foods For Fat Loss?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Diet helps a lot, but don’t forget to exercise, too!
Lean proteins are your best bet. Fish and Soy are the healthiest, but poultry cooked without much fat, or butter is okay, too. You need to make sure you get enough amino acids (building blocks of protein) in the right balance. If you don’t get the right balance, the left-overs end up being stored as fat. Red meats tend to be very high in fat, but without the red-meat, your balance gets thrown off. I’m not one to push supplements, but there is an amino acid, called L-carnitine, that helps supplement, when you cut down or eliminate red-meat. For vegetarians, it’s an absolute must. Recently, L-carnitine is also being promoted to help reduce fat, and help build healthy muscle tissue.
Also, make sure your body is running effeciently. Take a multi-vitamin. One I’m a big fan of is GNC’s “B-complex 75 complete”. It’s an effective multi-vitamin, with plenty of B-vitamins, as well as guarana seed extract. Guarana is a safe, natural source of caffeine, that can give you a little extra energy to motivate you to exercise (the REAL key to fat loss). There’s no “caffeine crash” from guarana, plus the vitamin is timed-release. It’s only $10 for 60.

White meat, unseasoned, steamed vegetables, not butter or mrs butter(fake butter powder), stick to no soda pop, water, and you can stay away from fast food.
Krista is full of crap:
“Some juice but make sure its all natural, because the ones that aren’t are loaded with sugar and a leading cause in diabetes in children and adults. ”
BS. Natural juices have sugar also. And there’s no proven link between juice and diabetes.
“Lots of water, 3-4 liters a day, not all at once, but spread it out. Its really easy to down a liter or two while your watching tv or on the computer.”
More BS. No proof that drinking water is helpful. All this is good for is making you pee a lot.
“Also drink some after you eat the bigger meals of the day, it helps your body pick out the nutrients in food when your food is more spread apart.”
WHAT?? This is total crap. There is NO evidence to support this BS. (where does she get this?) Your body does NOT need extra water to “pick out” nutrients. What an absurd concept.
“You also need to stay away from any sports drinks unless you’ve just had a long workout and then you need to limit yourself. Most atheletes mix Gatorade with water because its two [sic] complex for your body to get all the nutrients out of. It needs to be diluted. ”
More crap and BS. The science behind Gatorade has been going on for 30 years and there’s NO evidence of any “need” to dilute it. It works just fine as-is. Again, your body does NOT need extra water to “pick out” nutrients.
Don’t take diet advice from uneducated 19 year olds. It’s full of myth and folklore, sadly lacking in truth and science.
well meat is not good for weight loss. if you are a meat aholici suggest white meat, girlled chicken. fish is best. animal products (indluding dairy) are containing mroe and more steroids and toxins that are harmful to your health and slow your metabloic rate. so give boca burgers a try. they are so healthy for your heart and 9458493 times better for you than regular meat patties. try soy milk as well.
-veggies are best for you, limit the carrots though. spinach, is amasing. 20 calories for 4 cups. all vegeis have amaing health benefits too.
-beans are good. aduki beans, black beans, black- eyed peas, calico beans, chickpeas, kidney beans, lentils, lima beans, mung beans, navy beans, pinto beans and split peas. all of them are extremely nutrious, low in fat and carbs.
-healthy cereals would be any cereal which is high in fiber, shreded wheats, kashi golean cereal.
-eggs are high in protein… grevt for breakfest. but i would never eat them
-fruits are ok. limit them though. one-two a day is ok. they are high in carbs, good carbs, but your body still works in over time to burn them. pinapple and watermelon are the worst.
-bread and pasta arfent so good. if you must go brown. whole hweat bread and pasts. brown rice.
limit butter, salad dressing, creme chese and toppings.
make sure you eat breakfeast (eat most of your carbs here so your body has all day to burn them.) for snacks… plain popcon is good, nuts are good, vegies, or sugar free jello.
Be your own trainer and nutritionist, the basic rules to losing weight are no soda, no fast food, lots of chicken, fish, fresh (not canned that’s bad) fruits and vegies, whole wheat stuff, yogurt. Not so many cakes and donuts and cookies. Basic common sense for eating, you just need to enforce it. Get all the bad stuff out of the house right away, just toss it or give it away while your still motivated. No alcohol and no smoking if that applies. Some juice but make sure its all natural, because the ones that aren’t are loaded with sugar and a leading cause in diabetes in children and adults. Lots of water, 3-4 liters a day, not all at once, but spread it out. Its really easy to down a liter or two while your watching tv or on the computer. Also drink some after you eat the bigger meals of the day, it helps your body pick out the nutrients in food when your food is more spread apart. You also need to stay away from any sports drinks unless you’ve just had a long workout and then you need to limit yourself. Most atheletes mix Gatorade with water because its two complex for your body to get all the nutrients out of. It needs to be diluted. These rules may be hard to adapt to at first so start with cutting out the things you know you can live without. Then work from there. Remember these are perfect eating habits, it can take you a while to work into it. If you know you can’t live without your one treat a day, don’t fight it by trying to eat something else, just eat it and make sure that’s the only one you cheat on a day. Otherwise you’ll get depressed and quit. Another important point is getting the right amount of sleep every night. You need 8-9 hours of sleep each night for your body to function correctly. This is an important factor of losing weight. Set up a routine for yourself and go to bed at about the same time each night.
As for exercise, lots of cardio. Find something you like. If you have never exercised much before, start with walking 30 minutes a day at a brisk pace. Move on to different terrains that include hills and increase the time spent. After a week or two, try jogging the route. No matter what find an activity you enjoy. Walking to jogging is just an example, try hiking, rollerblading, biking. Once you get into a regular routine, if your not happy with the level of difficulty, try signing up with a gym. Spinning, pilates or kickboxing classes are great. It will also introduce you to working with weights. Talk to a trainer for instruction before using any weights. A cheap investment is a balance ball, it works you stomach while your just sitting on it, like at your computer and its great for posture. There are hundreds of exercises you can use it for for your entire body. I can give you some ideas if you want, just email me. Also for more info on the benefits of water go to http://www.watercure.com Good Luck! Honestly if you need anything else don’t hesitate to IM me, krista_girl86 even if you don’t pick me as best answer, i’d be happy to help. Those that are low in calories, but nutritionally sound. Best to avoid the whites: white flour, white sugar, white rice, white potatoes, etc. I’ve stayed thin for my whole life (am 60 this year) and when I eat too much and I gain a few pounds, I immediately cut back on food and then I lose the weight. Never let it get too far out of control. Don’t yo yo or fall for fad diets. You won’t stick to them. Good Luck!
First, it is mostly not your fault that you need to lose weight. The way society has taught you to eat is responsible for making obesity (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) the #1 health problem in the world replacing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic) of obesity.
So you need to completely re-learn how to eat so you won’t be a victim anymore. Learn everything that is on the site below. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not and you will have what you have now. You will learn about losing bodyfat, retained water and a 3rd thing. The reason there is so much info on this website is because I need to spend a lot of words to prove that many current ideas about losing weight are wrong.
mostly natural stuff is pretty good for fat loss
Protein. It takes lots of calories to digest protein. It also stays with you longer so you feel full for a longer period of time and will not eat as much the next time you eat.
If you want to lose fat you need to be on a low-fat diet. No more than 10 gram’s fat a day. Don’t count calories just grams of fat. eat yogurt, breads, vegetables, fruits, salads with fat free dressings, potatoes, fat free.candy..there are many out there such as all cotton candy is fat free, and always use I can’t believe it’s not butter spay with 0 calories and zero fat. You can buy plain yogurt for sour cream, just add some salt to it and you will be surprised how much it tastes like sour cream. Buy kraft fat free cheese for sandwhiches, along with a thin slice of ham or turkey or chicken. It is good on french bread. Eat pretzels, fat-free pringles, for snack or cereal with marshmellos. You can have some soda because it is fat free, but it is best to drink as much water as you can every day. No red meat! Look up a chart on the internet that tells the amount of fat listed in food and when you go groceriy shopping, check out the amount of fat in the item before you buy it. Just remember no more than 10 grams of fat a day that includes any kind of fat. This truly does work.
Also fat-free pudding is a good filler….I like to add grapenuts cereal for a crunch.
