Losing 50 pounds by December is a bad idea. Too much; too fast. If you have not been exercising, start with walking and increasing the distance every day. If you do exercise, the best burn is in playing racquetball or basketball. If you are solo, run uphill in the gym or road. Drink plenty of fluids.

Swimming can definitely be good, but you have to really swim a lot. If you aren’t a swimmer, try an elliptical exercise machine. Most gyms have these on their exercise floors, and you burn more than twice the calories of running or bicycling.

try tae bo, it helped me lose 40 lbs in 2 months, along with lowered calories. taebo will work everything. I love it and hate it at the same time.

From my experience it would be an elliptical trainer. Of course you would have to buy one or pay a monthly fee at a gym to use one. Or maybe have a friend with one. But you can get one for less then 200 bucks if you search online. I got one way back on the Home shopping network. Check it out. They burn like triple the amount of calories as a treadmill and are much easier on your knees. Running or jogging on a treadmill or the ground can cause knee issues in the long run.
    Good luck!

30 minutes of cardio every other day is best for females. Running, eliptical machines, stationary bikes any form of cardio works well it all depends on what you like.

Start swimming. It helps so much. I swim right now for my sophmore swim team. Believe me it really helps. And its the best cardiovascular exercise/sport out there.

The Best Cardio is a routine which you forget you are doing cardio. Find a routine or maybe class in which you really enjoy and therefore will want to do not have to do. I love step classes or cardio kick boxing. Load your ipod up with upbeat tunes and go highspeed!
