…Maybe a “fat flush” one? I heard that to kick start weight loss, particularly around the middle, a fast/flush could help???
I gain/lose the same 10 pounds easily but this time it is a little more stubborn. I work out and eat sensibly… I just want a boost.
Has anyone done this?

    YES!!!, as long as you start you diet the next day after fasting and stick to the diet

    **shakes head** I love all these people who act like they know everything. If they have never tried a fast they should not answer. Anyways, a three day fast will NOT send you into starvation mode, that would take more than five days. A juice fast is really beneficial, and I have done a five day juice fast on my own and today am now starting a 14 day juice fast.
    Now that we can move along.
    Fasting on only water is not really healthy in this day and age, ONLY because of the amount of toxins stored in our bodies from our lifestyles (pollution, etcetera), so its actually really hard on our system to detox that way. Alternating between juice and water is a good idea or juice fasting is a great alternative.
    Metabolism will NOT slow down on only three days, but you also don’t get the full detox effect. It will kickstart weight loss but if you don’t clean up the eating afterwards it will come back.
    On an extended fast like the one I will be doing, my metabolism will slow down after a week or 10 days, but breaking the fast is the most important part. When I break my fast and start reintroducing whole food again, if I stay clean and eat slow with small meals for the first week or so, my metabolism will wake up again and I won’t gain the weight back. If I start binging right off the bat, the weight will definitely come back because I don’t give my digestion and metabolism a chance to wake up.

    no! That won’t help at all, because your body will go into starvation mode, so you won’t lose any weight. Your metabolism would stop. You just need to start eating healthy, by eating many small healthy meals a day to speed up your metabolism, and excersize. That’s THE ONLY WAY to lose weight.

    NOPE!
    Fasting will not help you out.
    It may profide temporary weight loss but in the long run it will destroy your metabolism!

  • I think this would be hard because its just a short time. When we consider getting fit and losing weight, this would say that this really takes time and a long time procedure until we reach into our goal.
