D = diameter of the Circle
L = Length of the Rectangle
W = Width of the Rectangle
Circumference of the Circle = ?D ? eq 1
Perimeter = Circumference of the Circle + 2L
Rectangle area is said to be maximize when there Length and Width are equal.
So therefore
Length = Width or Width = Diameter or Length = Diameter
So: Perimeter = Circumference of the Circle + 2L
Perimeter = ? D + 2D
Perimeter = D(? + 2)
200 = D(5.14)
