Another Weight Loss Question, Does Anyone Have Any Tips?

By Diet | Feb 17, 2010

Basically, does anyone have any tips that are beneficial when trying to lose weight. If I could have answers from personal experiences, it would be really appreciated. I just want like tips to beat cravings, what’s okay to eat, what to completely avoid and how to avoid falling off the wagon. Thanks.

Eat FIVE SMALL BALANCED meals a day instead of 3 large meals.
When I say balanced I mean good Carbs, Protein and fats (eating fat does NOT make you fat! Eating more calories than you burn makes you fat!!)
Drink plenty of water!!! 2 litres + a day
Get around 12g-20g of fiber through out day.
    ALWAYS eat breakfast!
    and ofc exercise.
Eat things that come out of the ground!
    Stay AWAY from processed food!
Snack on fruits and veg if your ever hungry between your 5 meals a day.
Always drink water though alot of time the apparent hunger will go away as hunger is confused with thirst ALOT.
and about “falling off the wagon” …
Dieting is a bunch of BS, if you want a slim healthy toned bod you must make a LIFESTYLE CHANGE… not a “diet” which is a temporary thing. (used in this context)
I won’t give you any more advice because I don’t know your age or bodyweight, and you’ll probably end up finding it all confusing because I know ALOT about losing FAT and information overload is likely.
    Goodluck.

Muller lights with chocolate bits for sweet cravings or low fat chocolate drinks. Prepare sticks of carrot and celery and put in fridge so that it’s handier than a bag of crisps. If you eat lots of high fat crap, forgive yourself and start eating sensibly again. Don’t talk about falling off the wagon. Buy nice fruit not old dry tasteless or sour stuff. Tell yourself you are lovely and slim loads of times a day. Enjoy your food. x

I found soup a good low calorie but filling meal. It also keeps you feeling full for longer. Helped me lose 7 kg last year.
