Of course they do. Smoking will slow you down because it limits your breathing along with other major issues; strain on your arteries, heart, organs, etc. Drugs and, same deal, put major stress on your body which can affect your endurance, performance, reasoning ability, etc.
It makes no sense to treat a body wrong with drugs, alcohol and smoking and then try to be physically fit. You have to live a healthy lifestyle to be totally physically fit.
they don’t affect my fitness (anymore, quit smoking 10 years ago, stopped drinking and drugs 17+ years ago)… still have a bit of a chronic cough from the cigs. and quitting was tough because not only is nicotine addictive it has the effect of helping one focus and when quitting i felt disconnected and scattered for months.
the drugs and alcohol were just crazymaking… seriously put my mind in orbit…. when i stopped drinking it took me several years to finally burn into a landing and get grounded and into some facsimile of reality.
well alchol will put weight on you…espically beer, and if your doing drugs well alot of times it makes you just lay around and not get any exercise.
It depends a lot on age. In your early 20s you can smoke, etc and still jog. in your 30s it becomes difficult
pot will definitely slow you down, make you lazy and make you not want to work out. And the drinking will also probably slow you down.
your fitness sucks if you smoke, drink, and do drugs. that’s it. and your body looks like crap.
