Fat Loss 4 Idiots

Ok, I’m currenly weight 162 pounds and begin to worry that I’m overweight for my age (18). However, do to college and work time consuming, I don’t have enough time to go to the gym and exercise, so my current and only way of exercise is by walking for 20 minute a day (burn about 100 calories) and reduce my eating simply by try to eat a little more veggies and going down from 3 to 2 meal a day.

it’s hard to say hether or not you’re overweight only by giving your weight, since you haven’t told us how tall you are.
The easiest way to determine (although not with any high degree of accuracy) is to find out your BMI, or Body Mass Index. It’s really easy to work out your BMI if you use metric, otherwise the formula gets a tad ugly.
If your BMI is under 25 you’re okay. If it’s between 25 and 30 you may have a weight problem, but a lot of other factors come into it. Over 30 is a concern.
Cutting down from 3 meals to 2 is a very unhealthy thing to do, and probably won’t help you lose weight anyway!
I have been seeing a dietician for the past two months, and in the first six weeks I lost nearly thirteen pounds. Her advise was that you should be eating three meals a day, but they should all be about the same size. Try to cut out snacking between meals as much as you can. Obviously cut out as much fast food as you can. Cut back on oft drinks, as well as a lot of fruit drinks (there is a reason why but it confused me)..
Drink as much water as you can humanly stand. It flushes a lot of the nasty stuff out of your system.
It’s also advised that you walk at least 10,000 paces each day. Buy yourself a pedometer, and keep a note of how many paces you do each day. At the end of the day, you may find that your 20 minute walk is enough to get you to your 10,000 paces.

If you keep cutting your calorie intake by half and exercise you will lose a good amount of weight within time.

As long as you don’t eat unhealthy you should be ablt to maintain your weight. Stay away from fast food. It is a sure way to make you fat. You should not have to cut your meals back, just eat more fruits, veggies and turkey or ham. Don’t load up on red meat.
