    It is not possible to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. To lose fat you have to cut your calories and to gain muscles you have to increase your calories. it is just a marketing hype to convince people and buy the so called magic pills.
    First you need to concentrate on building as much as muscles for some peroids for eg about 4-6 months. Then you need to concentrate on shedding the extra fat that gained.

    Being toned is a myth, you need to lose body fat and reduce your
    body fat to a certain percentage to be ”toned”.
    Cardio + Weight lifting on alternate days with rest in between.
    Google is your friend, use it!
