What Does And Exercise Ball Do To Help Prepare For Labor?

I have heard several people say to sit on an exercise ball to help your body prepare or stretch for labor…are there certain exercises that you need to do with the ball? Just wondering, thanks.

It’s comfortable for one..
You can rock back and forth and rotate your hips to try to ease baby lower into your pelvis with it, or bounce
you can stradle it and it will help with loosening and stretching your hips out
and it feels good, in general, much better then sitting in a chair
helps your baby get down in position and also helps the cervix drop.
