What Is The Most Efficient Type Of Exercise For Losing Weight?
![]() |
I need to lose a bit of weight, but I have a busy life and need an exercise regimen that doesn’t take up too much of the day. Which type/style of training packs the most punch per time spent doing it? (Please be more specific than “aerobics” or “weight training”).

weight training (high reps low weight) and running. Both of these will help you tone your body. But the other thing both will do for u is increase ur metablosim so your body breaks downs fat better and faster. Crunchies also helps. i hope that helps…if u need more just contact me

running or biking.
You can always be efficient with your time. Next time you are going somewhere that has stairs…take the stairs versus the elevator/escalator. Walk as much as you can as often as you can. While watching tv, do crunches. Only eat what you can and don’t overeat. Portion control and watch what you eat.
Stop lifting cakes and candy to your mouth
All exercise is good for losing weight it all depends on your body type. Some people respond well to power walking with weights. Or cross country biking is a another fav. as welll as running. but it all depends on you and what you can and are welling to do. If this is your firts time doing a lot of exercise start with about 10 or 15 min. of exercise and keep adding every couple of days.
Swimming is great.
If you have a busy life here are some specific suggestions.
Never park close to a building….park way out, you will walk more.
in a building take the stairs and not the elevator. Get up five minutes earlier and do some simple streches & sit ups, leg lifts etc.
When you are at your desk working so some simple rump squeezes or what ever you can do to do some isometric exercises.
Use a smaller plate when you eat. Get your self a jump rope and jump three minutes before each meal.
Leave your two five pound weights out and when you walk by then spend a minute or two working them.
You will be amazed at even the smallest effort in exercise makes a difference.
speed walk for miles and miles
