Whats The Best Way To Kick Start A Fitness Plan After No Exercise For A Long Time?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

Start off easy so that your body has time to adjust and heal. so run or walk 5 mins the first day, do some sit ups, crunches, pilates whatever your forte is. You know what parts of your body you wanna work on so do some exercises that target those areas, and day after day gradually increase those sets and your running/walking time. But make sure for the first week or so to take a day off or two and let your body rest, that way the muscles heal and have time to build and get stronger, making it easier for you to see results, and improve! Drink lots of water!!!
Hope this helps a little!

I would definitely recommend curves, which is only for females. Judging from your avatar, you are a guy. But I think work out videos is the way to go. Or join a gym and get started on a treadmill. I used to walk all the time on a treadmill and then I saw these bigger people running nonstop. I thought, if they can do it, then I definitely can do it. And I started running which quickly worked up my stamina. After 6 months. My friend suggested I take it outside and get some sun. Running outside I lost 20lbs!! So I definitely recommend running.

slowly increase your protein intake over a month long period.
decide if you want to lose weight or build muscle first.to lose weight do lots and lots of cardio work and to build muscle start with exercises that you can do at home like push ups etc.
there’s no need to go to the gym, you will just quit after a month.
if you want to look good without a shirt and you’re starting now just know that you will reap your rewards only in a couple years time.
Discipline and motivate yourself and be prepared to grit your teeth

start off slow. I would go through the motions rather than actually trying to get any results. Do that for a day or so. Too much too soon will make you sick or sore and will discourage you from exercising.

  • Start really slow, don’t push yourself at all.
Just get a feel for what you can do.
After a few times, start increasing the amount of time you run for or the the number of reps you do.

Go to a gym and hop on the rowing machine Stimpy.
Do 500 metres in 2 minutes… rest for a minute and do it again… 8 times. Do this 3 days a week for a month… and then start a weights program.

  • Spanky G:

Walking. It requires no gym membership or fancy equipment.
Go for a walk in the morning. Start by going around the block…then gradually increase your distance
