  • I am soooo splendiferous:

Do a mixture of cardio (running, swimming, etc.) and muscle build-up (crunches, weights, etc.). Eat a low calorie (but still healthy, with enough calories and nutrients) diet. Don’t focus on just your stomach. You will lose fat in more places than your stomach if you exercise and eat right.

  • ToniaJ:

Someone above mentioned suck in your stomach while doing cardio and I agree with them. Also, running on the treadmill. Doing regular crunches & sit-ups. Forget using the machines or ball. Using a matt on the floor will do. If you can live w/o carbs, that will work too!

Idk everytime I workout my stomach manages to follow me all over the gym! Theres know getting rid of it or losing it anywhere!!!
aaaaahhhhhhhh! Why Dear Lord won’t it just get lost????

  • buckybab:

try the Ab king pro or just plain old sit ups

  • Angie:

suck your stomach in while your working out

  • Wheezy:

a treadmill is the ONLY machine you should use for fat loss. Don’t use weights to lose stomach fat. When using weights to do crunches and other stomach excercises all it does is INCREASE your waste size as your muscles underneath your fat enlarge, making you have an even BIGGER appearance…

  • Treadmill. You also might think about trying this book called “The Movie Star Diet” by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn’t think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

    I don’t know.

  • skibum76:

Regular, intense cardio and resistance excercise program, mixed with a high quality diet where you eat small meals at least 6 times per day (to rev metabolism.)
Yes, hard work is the recipe for fat loss, and there is no such thing as spot reduction – if you want to lose fat in your stomach you must lose fat all over, and that takes consistent hard work and dedication – much easier said than done, I know.

  • Rahul A:

There is no such thing as spot reduction
you have to lose over all body fat in order for your stomach to shrink.
Eat right, cardio, weight training, lots of rest.
    Calories IN

  • ?anna?:

    i think sit-ups.

  • I’m a 34 year old male, so with that in mind in a period of a year I went from 198 lbs at 5’8″ to 160lbs on a high carb, high protein diet with running as my main source of excersize. I ran everyother day on average 3-4 miles. The running took care of alot of my overall body fat, but don’t forget you need energy to burn of them calories, carbs=running fuel! However I still had the leftovers of a belly, that when I started crunches, aswell as techniques such as leg lifts, v-ups, the dying cockroach(where you lay on back, arms and legs raised straight up and head off the floor for as long as you can) I did about 300 of these various excersizes a day in that same year period. The running and ab-work combined netted me a totally flat and moderatley scuplted abdomen. This all took about a year. I still maintain this regimen. Hope that helps.

You can work out on any machine while squeezing your abs. You can even walk around the block squeezing your abs and it will work them.
