Fat Loss Diets and Cardio Overload – Why this prevents you from losing weight

Fat Loss 4 Idiots

If you've been looking for ways you can accelerate your fat loss, you've probably considered adding more cardio to your workouts fat loss. But is it really a smart move?

Here's why you may want to reconsider.

The Fat Loss Cardio Mindset

Many people when starting their diet on fat loss get in this mindset cardio if they think that if some is good, more must be better.

Afterall, if you can burn 300 calories a day with a jog of 30 minutes, why not bump that up to 60 minutes per day – 600 calories!

This means you can eat 300 calories more each day and keep the same rate of fat loss or fat you will lose twice as fast.

Bonus!

Not really.

The issue with Fat Loss Cardio

There are two important points to keep in mind here. When choosing the methods you will use to make yourCardio fat loss, you can usually choose between higher intensity sprints, or you opt for a more moderate pace, shape steady state cardio.

Each has its advantages and disadvantages.

Steady State Cardio

If you decide to go steady state cardio, or because you do not like the intensity of the sprints, you do not want to risk overtraining, or simply because you're not in the kind of shape necessary to do sprints, then you 's risk for allAnother set of problems.

The muscle mass loss.

Too much cardio steady state tends to be catabolic to the body, which means that your body will start using muscle tissue for fuel rather than relying strictly on body fat reserves.

To see an example of this, watch for long distance runners of the marathon there. You do not have much muscle, do they?

That's why.

When you combine that much steady state cardio (1 hour + five times a week for example) you want torisk of loss of muscle mass when you eat fewer calories than the body takes to maintain weight.

Interval Training

Going further, if you opt for the term interval training, you have another set of problems.

With this one, the big question will be overtraining, as now, you have your two sessions of sprint and your weightlifting workouts CNS stimulant.

While some stimulation of the body can bear, too expensive and that it will close. When this happens, you will not feel good.

Unless you balance your carefully lifting and between sessions, the problems are coming.

As many of these diets on fat loss, as mentioned above, enter the "some is good, more is better" mindset, many try to make too many interval sessions than their bodies can support.

So, if by doing more cardio will not be a good option for fat loss, what is?

Get your supply line.

Mostpeople hate to hear this because let's face it, we like to eat. But it's much easier to cut several hundred calories of your day (look for places cursed excess calories creep), which add hours of cardio a week.

The only exception to this may be the people who already eat a low calorie diet (defined as less than their body weight in kilograms multiplied by a factor of 9 per day).

In this case, more cardio may be an option, but even still, it might be time to lookon other issues that could happen with this person on a diet in particular, as most people should be losing weight on such admission.

So take a look at your program. How many hours of cardio do you do per week into your diet to lose fat?

It may be time to rethink that.
