That&#039;s okay, but it will be hard to get anything too helpful or specific when you need as much information as you do.  Also, you should be given the tools and knowledge to make all of these decisions on your own. =)
Now I have to say.  I LOVE diet books.  I really love them.  I have so many, and I read them, and I don&#039;t really follow them.  I don&#039;t read low carb diet books though.  Because low carb diets are stupid and unhealthy (don&#039;t do it).  Anyway, I have a few favourites.  One of them is French Women Don&#039;t Get Fat.  However, this one would not be appropriate to your situation.
I highly recommend that if you can, get to your local bookstore and buy Tom Venuto&#039;s &quot;The Body Fat Solution&quot;.  He is logical and moderate in his approach to diets, and speaks about certain diet myths.  The best thing about the book was how heavily he focused on the mental and emotional parts of weight loss.  I was highly impressed with this, he did it very well and is very encouraging.  
You obviously really want to lose weight, and you even say you hate your body.  This book would honestly be perfect for you.

Eat healthy foods without artificial sugars and preservatives. Fruit, Vegetables, you should know whats healthy. And remember your portion control. Don&#039;t eat 2 hours before you go to bed. Although you hate your body, you should still love yourself. Without self-love you wont succeed.</description>
