Create a calorie deficit

I know, I know. Who wants to spend time figuring out how many calories you've eaten in recent days? Busy guysimply do not have time for that!

Look at it this way though. If you go on a long trip, you'll never get to where you go, unless you know where you're starting, right!? You must determine how many calories you eat now. Take the time to write anything for three days of eating normally and include 1 weekend day.

There is a good chance that you do not eat enough calories depending on your body type and activity level. Understanding your calorie intake is important because it lets you know how much food to eat for your calorie level. Once you know your baseline calorie needs, it is easy to go up or down depending on your normal level.

Now that you know how much you eat, you must now create the deficit. You MUST take less calories than you currently eat to lose fat! There is no other way about it. If you are eating 2000 calories per day on average, start with a small reduction, for example 250 calories for a few weeks. With your current workouts, you should begin to lose fat.

Here to determine your calorie level is very important because now you canmanipulate your calories up or down with a few simple changes. Need to cut 500 calories a day, to replace a meal with a protein drink and a meal size cut in half. This is just one example, but shows you how easy it can be.
