What do you know about ear stapling as a means to reduce weight?

A girl here in the office said that he had worked for her, but she is one of those who could stand to gain a few pounds (IMHO). Anyone have any experience with them? “I’m not looking for” magic bullet weight loss, but something to help, it is not addictive or other harmful pill combination, formulas, etc. I’ve changed my habits and my exercise habits and what I do for fun (like on TV). It was suggested that, for me, and I do not know much about it, and I was hoping that someone there had personal experience.
