When should I start to lose weight?

I was on a routine job for 1. 5 months and 45 minutes doing cardio and weight training 3 times a week. I have seen the loss of height (in inches), but not weight. I know that you get the muscles that mess that you see in the fat loss on the scale. So I know when it balances.
