While eating lots of raw foods is conducive to healthy living, this is not the only factor of health.

In fact, many say that what you do not eat is actually more important than what you eat. You can eat all raw foods in the world, but it will not make a lick of difference if you're still involved in destructive habits on a regular basis.

That's actually a lot of sense.

For example, suppose you eat raw fruit vegan diet highbreakfast, lunch and dinner. Then, each night before bedtime, you swallow a Big Mac, French fries, and a handful of large ones.

No matter how many fruits and vegetables you eat during the day, it will not be able to fight against the destructive effects of eating such a large amount of fatty salty foods, bold, every day.

If you're probably not eating as much junky food that you usually can be held on a little destructive foods, substances, activities, etc. that prevent you fromthe realization of the magnitude of health.

Some of the biggest culprits (in no particular order) that should be completely avoided:

Cigarettes
Alcohol
Medications prescribed or not
Coffee, chocolate and other stimulants
Salt, spices, condiments and other

Returning to the example above where we eat a diet high in fruit for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Rather than having a fast food meal every night, you just once a month.

An unhealthy meal of 90 + will really not that much difference. You will probably feel very sick after taking into account the fact that your body was used to clean and simple food, but the long term willminimal.

So if you are afraid to engage in salt, fat recipes raw foods to your gross monthly potluck or having a glass of wine a couple when you go out with friends, so stop worrying! While they are rare events, they will not make much difference in terms of your overall health.

How to Break Em

If you're hooked on unhealthy practices and you're ready to give it up, there are different ways you can go.

Tocertain substances such as caffeine, alcohol and cigarettes, the approach overnight is preferable. That's exactly what I did with coffee. I went to drink a cup every morning for absolutely nothing in a day. Although I had a headache for days aa little, that was the extent of my addiction. It took only a few weeks for me to lose all desire to coffee.

For changes in lifestyle such as giving up certain foods such as meat, cheese, salt, etc., I recommend a gradualtransition. There are many ways you can go with it, such as eliminating a food group at a time while incorporating more fruits and vegetables in your diet. The key is to ensure that you are still consume the same amount of calories, which will prevent cravings.

Starting an exercise routine requires a phased approach. Jumping head first into one hour per day of heavy traffic is a surefire way to get hurt. You want to start more slowly and easily as possible(Walking is always good) and only increase the duration, intensity and / or frequency when you feel comfortable.
