Gilad's 60 and 30 min (2008-12-17)
I'm not sure how well I like this tape, only time will tell. First, the 30 minute exercise part was almost too easy, in that I mean, it does not prepare you at all for the 60 minute portion. The 60 minute part is much harder and confusing. My legs were cramping up on me trying to do the 60 minute part- and that was just in the beginning. The pace is too fast and there is very little transition time between moves. You have a double step, switch to a new move - do that twice, and then a double step, and so on. I can never keep up, because there is no time to figure out what they are doing before they move on. The moves are more complicated, longer, and harder. I realize I am a novice, but come on, there should be some connect between the 30min and the 60min. The best I can do is start with the 30min and add one of the sections from the 60 min.

Not original (2008-10-04)
The 30 minute routine is the exact workout that was marketed under Gilad's "30 minute beginner's workout". It was produced in 1987 and sold VHS.

great video (2008-08-24)
I use to do Gilad workouts back in the day and I wanted to get back in shape so I bought this video because sometimes I will have time to do the 60 min and sometimes only the 30 min workout. Both are great but since I dont have great cordination some of the aerobic sections lost me. But over time I was able to master it. Gilad is the best.

Jog Down Memory Lane (2008-08-22)
I purchased this DVD a few months ago because many, many years ago I used to enjoy working out with Gilad on tv. This is now my favorite workout DVD. (Okay, to be truthful I don't own that many YET, but I have tried several others that I didn't like). I am a 48-year-old in fairly good shape, not fantastic, but good. I can do the 30 minute workout just fine. I get an energy boost from doing it. I really like all of the 30 minute workout, especially the arm workout before the aerobics and the workout for abs after the aerobics. The 60 minute workout is a bit much for me. That's okay, a goal for me to shoot for is to be able to do it as well as I can do the 30 minute workout SOMEDAY. Hope this helps some other 48-going-on-49-year-old!

Great all-over workout in 30 min. (2008-08-14)
The 30-minute is perfect in the mornings before work and the 60 for when you have more time. I am 24, in moderately good shape and find this to be an easy all-over workout that will still make you sweat and give you lasting energy throughout your day. No equiptment required but you can add weights if you feel like getting more of a challenge.
