How do I go about beginning a fitness regiment?

I am 18 years old, 5 feet. 11 “and weighs about 150. I’m trying to find a bodybuilding fitness regiment / get in shape for college. Will I lose weight or lift weights in the first place?” I have about 6 months, and I’m trying to get the best possible results during this period temps . Edit: I’m only 5, 7. A small typo there.

So I did back and biceps workout today. But I think it will be 3-5 hours of sleep a night. I know that other important when it comes to building muscle, so if I take 2-3 hours of sleep tomorrow will be as good as if I had a full nights sleep?
