Is It Good To Detox Occasionally By Using A Bland Diet For A Few Days?

Author: I do crave sweets on occasion. It seems like I can go for 1-2 weeks then it hits me. I have to bake a cake, cookies, or pie, anything sweet. I eat on it for a few days and then I am finished. Does a bland diet help to rest the gut? Will it help with sugar craving?

I Am Looking For Recipes Fit For A Soft And Bland Diet?
My mil has been sick. She has just been released from the hospital and needs to change her diet drastically. Anyone who can help with a recipe would be greatly appreciated.
What Does A Bland Diet Do For The Stomach?
My doctor told me to eat a bland diet since I’ve been having diarrhea (sorry, had to menton it). But I don’t know why. What’s the purpose of a bland diet?
And another question: what happens if I take too much antacids for my stomach? Is this the reason why I’ve been having diarrhea in the first place? :-/
