That is tough…mainly because LA Fitness has a bad reputation when it comes to service and canceling memberships if things do not work out.
If there is another gym close by, I suggest looking into that one. If your parents aren’t too keen on paying for a gym, try to convince them to order an at home fitness program for you….or ask for it as a birthday or holiday gift.
Also, if they refuse on all suggestions…and you happen to have Comcast or Fios, take a look at all the free exercise videos they offer in the ON DEMAND section. There are plenty of them to keep you active.

Im sixteen and I really want to start working out. Because of the cheap price and convience I have decided to go to PF. How old do you have to be to join?

I’m not making much money as a recent graduate and want to join a gym. American Family Fitness doesn’t give its prices online (they want you to email a local rep), and I’m trying to compare prices to the ymca (although the ymca is looking like its too much for me : (. I just want to avoid sending amfamfit an email so i dont get junkmail and b/c i want a straightforward answer. Thanks!!

I am really interested in joining Curves. It seems like it will fit into my schedule and I only have a small amount of weight to lose. I just want to know how much it would be?

im looking to join a new la fitness that was just built in my town..id rather go there because they have a pool, court, etc. and i broke my ankle last spring and the pool would be great for it. im just wondering how much it costs to join it and how much it would be a month? and if they have any student discounts or anything…thankss
