I was diagnosed with insulin resistance and metformin were prescribed 2500 mg jour.PPL many PCOS, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance or weight loss in British Columbia, they will not work properly without the use of insulin, metformin, or similar. I was on it for a week and have not lost poids.Je wondering if anyone has experienced weight loss, a few weeks, but not immediately.

Did anyone who was taking metformin for PCOS see results for less acne as well as weight loss? I am taking 500mg twice a day so 1000mg of Metformin, I have just started recently and I was wondering if other people may have seen results?

I started Metformin and was told it helps with weight loss. I was curious if that is true? I want to lose weight which im working on anyways before I start trying to conceive or taking meds to.

I was diagnosed with PCOS last year. I have been trying to concieve for a while now and I dont think my massive weight gain is helping it. I have been gaining all my weight in my stomach and its not only uncomfortable but its depressing. Anyone have any good results taking this? Meaning weight loss, pregnancy, etc??? Also, how do I go about asking my doctor??

Many ppl with PCOS, metabolic syndrome, or insulin resistance lose weight bc their insulin isnt working properly without the aid of metformin or the like. I have been on it for over a week and have not lost any weight.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced weight loss after a couple weeks, rather than immediately.
