What Is The Best Way To Prepare For Exercise Without Water?
I’m sure all doctors or sports scientists would agree that dehydration severely hampers athletic performance. However, I am training towards going for my Dan grading (black-belt) in Ju-Jitsu. The grading is likely to be 5 to 6 hours long, and I am unlikely to have many water breaks (my brown belt grading allowed us 1 water break in 6 hours, others have had none in 5 hours).
Therefore, my question is how do you prepare for intense physical exercise with limited supply of fluids? Drink a lot the day before? Limit fluid intake so my body gets used to being a little dehydrated?
