When you drink diet soda is really different from soda rgular?

Well, because I checked the back of Diet Coke can and has 0 calories, but almost as good as sodium can regular Coke. Since I do not drink soda that often I was wondering, it’s better than a diet?

Stopped Drinking Soda… Why So Little Weight Loss?

As of right now I sit at 284 pounds. About 3 weeks ago I stopped drinking soda completely and stopped eating fast food. I am now on water only and I eat at home. I started at 295 pounds so at this point I have lost about 11 pounds, most of which I think is water weight.
I went from drinking 4-6 sodas a day (aprx. 600 – 900 calories worth) to drinking none. I thought that with such a dramatic drop in calories that my weight loss would be more dramatic. I can fluctuate 10 pounds when I am on my period alone so I am really not happy at all.
Did I drop too many calories at once? I am going to work out soon. I had started jogging with a friend but it got really cold so now I am joining a gym this week. Will someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?
