What Is The Best Diet And Workouts For Insulin Resistance Syndrome?

I was diagnosed with Insulin Resistance Syndrome when I was younger and have put off doing anything about but now I would like to get healthy (seeing as Im still young) and fix my problems. Does anyone know a good diet and exercise regimen to follow and No it is not the same as being a diabetic. Serious answers only. I really appreciate this!
