Just curious if anyone knows what exactly walking and getting exercise while pregnant does. I mean obviously it’s healthy to get exercise but what specifically does it do? Such as.. give less risk for going on bed rest later or get baby in position or what? Does anyone know?

How Long Should I Walk Everyday For Exercise?
I’ve started out at 240 pounds and now I am about 190, I’ve been eating healthy and walking for exercise, I still have some flab and I want to get rid of it. I’ve been walking an hour to an hour and a half every day for exercise since I started the diet, but I noticed a slow-down in losing the pounds, is JUST walking enough now that I weigh 190? Because I want to get down to 180, that’s the right weight for my height.

How Do You Exercise An Overweight Dog That Has A Severe Limp And Can Hardly Walk?
We took our dog to a vet due to a slight limp in his front left leg. The vet recommended surgery to cut the ligament and indicated that it would provide immediate relief. Six weeks and $1,600 later, the poor dog can hardly put any weight on the leg. The vet said he should lose weight, but how can he lose weight when he can’t exercise? Unfortunately, we live in the Midwest (cold) so we can’t take him to swim. I feel so bad for him – he just lays around.
